"The Coast" is a fantastic addition to the "Touch of Evil" franchise. It provides another board to explore (the only complaint I had about the original game was that there was not a lot to do--add both big expansions, however, and that problem is solved and then some), more cards and items, more town elders, and a bunch of new characters and bad guys to play with. Nice! Game play is only slightly changed, with the addition of hauntings and a kracken you can run into which make the game more challenging. The new characters were a little uninspiring, but they were solid enough. Always happy to have more people to choose from. The new villains are terrific and quite strong! My only complaint is that the village square for this board has "task" cards that you can complete for good or for bad, but there simply are not enough of them and they can get a little repetitive. On the whole, though, I was really happy with this expansion. Like "Something Wicked," it provides the variety and challenges that the original game needed. With all three together, I think "Touch of Evil" is just about the perfect game. We're featuring it as the highlight of our Halloween party this year!
