In my review for book 2 i was kinda mad about how Melany had gotten together with Hades. I take everything back that I said. This book brought more meaning to that whole relationship. I could tell he really did care about her in his own way even if he still loved his first love.I'm this book we watch as Melany and Lucian get back to the way they should've always been. Zuse, Ares, and Aphrodite gets what was coming to them also.The sad part that actually had me in tears ??? was the death of Hades. It was really heartbreaking. Throughout the series I was so against any idea that he would be the good guy. Come on Hades is supposed to be so darkness but to be honest he turned out to be the one God who was against ending the world.Who would've ever saw that coming. I didn't but it was a great way to show that Hades wasn't all bad. I'm still a little confused about Hades former love and Melany being distance relatives. Does this mean that she had a child of her own and who was the father? Was it Hades since Melany ended up with the Shadow power? Plus, does this mean he might have slept with and fallen in love to some degree with a member of his child's child? It's all confusing and leaves a lot of questions asked with little answers.But the story was still great and I wish there was more to read.
